The Strat tone you've been chasing — finally found.
The Haynes Goldern Root 1957 pickup set is the result of years of research, winding, and listening. Hand-wound by Neil Haynes in the UK since 2010, these pickups are built for players who know the difference between a pickup that's made and one that's crafted.
Wound with 42 AWG single enamel wire on staggered Alnico 5 magnets with a vintage bevel, this set captures the bright, snappy, and articulate character of the early Stratocaster — crisp attack, tight lows, and that signature quack in the in-between positions. Lower output levels keep the tone open and dynamic, responding beautifully to pick attack and amp drive. Every set is wax potted as standard to eliminate microphonic squeal.
