Wound by hand in our UK workshop, each Golden Root 62 set is crafted with Alnico V rod magnets and period-correct Formvar wire, following the same winding techniques used in the golden era of American bass building. The result is a matched pair of single-coil pickups that breathe with genuine vintage character — and hum-cancel beautifully when both are engaged.
