Fidelity

The Fidelity is the result of years of dedicated design work by Neil Haynes — a relentless pursuit to create the ultimate high-end guitar. Drawing on decades of luthiery experience, Neil set out to craft an instrument that seamlessly blends the timeless character of vintage design with the precision and performance of modern building techniques, resulting in a guitar that feels rooted in tradition yet entirely forward-thinking.

The Haynes Fidelity is our modern take on the classic offset guitars. We have spent years rethinking what we believe the modern "Offset" should be.

The Sound

Every pickup on the Fidelity is personally designed and hand-wound by Neil Haynes himself. After years of research, experimentation, and countless iterations, Neil has refined his in-house winding into what he believes are some of the finest pickups available — perfectly voiced to complement the Fidelity's character with a rich, balanced tone that sits beautifully across the full frequency range.

The Fidelity is fitted with a modern, balanced set of T-style pickups — carefully voiced to deliver that classic snap and clarity whilst offering a refined, even response across all playing styles. Custom wiring configurations are also available, so you can have the exact switching and control layout that works for you. If you have a favourite pickup manufacturer whose sound you love, we are more than happy to fit your preferred pickups instead — just get in touch and we'll build the guitar around your vision.

We fit all of our guitars with the finest electronics — CTS pots, CRL switches, Switchcraft Jacks and Oil in Paper Capacitors.

Playability

We have designed the Fidelity headstock to have straight string pull as well as an 8-degree headstock angle to improve tuning stability. All of our guitars have the highest quality Jescar fretwire with each guitar having a full level, crown and polish by our Master Luthier. We have also made sure that all of our necks are as comfortable to play as possible with our custom 9.5" to 14" fretboard radius each guitar having the fretboard edges rolled by hand to make sure they are perfect.

More Ergonomic

We made some subtle and some larger changes to the shape and carves, added more comfort by increasing the radius on our arm carve and deepening our stomach carve as well as our new countered heel carve & deep front scoop for greater access to the upper frets and far more comfort when playing.

The Perfect Hardware

At Haynes, we strive to make everything we can in-house, even our metal neck plates, back plates and pickguards, which we designed to perfectly fit our shapes and then finish them in some great aged finishes, from brass to steel and copper that ages and patinas over time.

When we can't make it, we use the best hardware out there, Gotoh. The bridge on our Fidelity is the fantastic 510 Gotoh bridge and the tuners are high-spec and reliable Gotoh locking tuners.

Colours

The Fidelity is available in a hand-picked selection of classic, timeless finishes that perfectly complement its vintage-inspired character. Please see the drop-down for standard available colours.

All finishes are applied in the spray shop to the highest standard, with each guitar receiving a semi-gloss, super-thin modern nitro neck finish, allowing you to glide up and down without the neck ever getting sticky. If you have a colour in mind that isn't listed, we are more than happy to discuss custom colour options — just get in touch and we'll make it happen.
